Interior aluminum end cap
This is my progress removing the fiberglass end cap from my 65 overlander. I'm finally getting around to putting aluminum segments in place of the old one piece cap! I wish someone had already figured out the dimensions of the pieces needed, but I'm sure I can figure it out. I'll post the progress!

You might want to check back blogs on Airforms - I remember another that did this about two years ago and posted lots of pictures and step by step. Also others have done this in the past and posted - good luck!

Check out my 67' ambassador rebuild.. I did a step by step for that task. Let me know if you have any question.

Thanks, so if I understand correctly, you had the pieces cut 8"? Was the 4x10 sheet enough to do both sides?

Another method here

I followed this and it worked well. Had aluminum provider cut the pieces for me for clean cuts.
