Well I am ready to embark.

Thanks everyone for the advise.

I am leaving Denver Colorado for Denver Pennsylvania tomorrow Afternoon.

I have a new hitch setup, mirror extensions, 4 tires, tools and a wad of hundreds just in case. I can't wait to see what I have gotton myself into. After reading the replies to my thread and staring at the pictures on Ebay for hours at a time I am worried about the floor in the trailer. I don't mind doing the repairs but I want to do them in my own yard, in my own state. I hope it's road worthy in that respect. I will post pics and an update for those of you that might be curious when I return. For those of you along my route, keep an eye out for sparks and smoke .

Scott

Talking I'm back!

Well, I made it back to Colorado with our new airstream. All in all it is in better shape than I expected for a thousand dollar trailer.

I feel a little crazy driving 3489 miles to get a trailer. The funny thing is, the fuel and hotel bill was more than the purchase price. Oh well, it was an adventure to say the least.

I have started to remove the interior and the floor coverings to expose whatever money sucking problems lurk underneath. I will keep in touch as to my progress. I am in the process of uploading some pics to my profile. They will be up shortly.

Enjoy the pics,

Scott and Cyndi

Scott & Cyndi:

Congratulations on your new trailer! We missed you at the RMVAC Rally but knew you were on a more important mision. We look forward to seeing you and your family at our Denver Unit events. More Vintage Colorado trailers, Hooray!
