There does seem to be a trend...

I'm 6'4" and the Mrs. is 5'5". The Airstream is just her size. I have hit my head twice on the entry door frame, once going in and once going out. The common denominator was I was not paying attention. I was either forgetting something and turned around just after exiting and the other time I was asked a question as I was entering and smacked the top of my head. Both times I saw stars and was dizzy. An ensuing headache soon followed. That doorframe doesn't have much give to it.

I also hit my head twice on the wooden cross piece that follows along the curved ceiling that would have held up the divider between the front and rear portions of the interior. After the second time, it quickly came out.

Well, of COURSE, Davy... 6'5" is NORMAL if you're 6'5"!!!

Ok, folks... what IS it about taller men and shorter women? MY wife is 5'5"!!!

And for those enquiring minds who want to know... I AM a slow learner... I even semi-regularly smack my noggin on our heat ducts in the basement!!!

My sister is 6'-0" When I was working up at the local university, I was standing out on the sidewalk by the gym when the girls varsity basketball team came out, talk about a taste of my own medicine! There were at least 4 young ladies on that team that are 6'-5"

Ok, Shari... point taken... perhaps it is the height difference I should be talking about! ...

Perhaps, OTOH, I ought to just bow out quietly now and leave well enough alone before I REALLY get myself in deep!

Roger,
Are you sure that wasn't 'foot in mouth' ? I prefer the taste of New Balance shoes myself

Ha! And after skewering Brett on another thread about "your-you're" and spell check, then to say 'tread' (as in shoes) instead of 'thread' in my last post (now edited and fixed...) I think you're right Aaron!

New Balance, Nike... as long as they're name brands... they all taste the same when inserted in the mouth!!!!

Fortunately, after years and years of being a wiseguy, I've become accustomed to the taste of shoeleather(rubber?)...

I guess that is true.

On my mothers side of the family we have a coule 6+ ladies. Course we also have some 7ft men on that side as well.

It may be just human nature as well if you want to look at the survival of the speices angle.
