Toilet removal
In my 71 Sovereign International, 31 ft. rear bath. I have noticed a leak that appears to be coming from the bottom of toilet. I have checked the connection at the water inlet and it is dry. I was thinking maybe leak was from water valve at foot controls. Any suggestions . How do I remove toilet to check? Any tricks to it? Charles

Have you checked the back lights for leaking? They are notorious for doing that. Ours- you can see the holes where the lights weren't'
sealed when we removed the bath- same 1971 sov. rear bath silver suz
I found the reason it was so easy to remove the bath was because we had stripped out the walls next to the beds! See! simple!!!

Toilet/Tub Removal

Charles,

There are two nuts, 1/2" I think. Right front and left rear, I think. (I removed mine about 2 months ago and I can't believe I don't remember it more vividly. I do still have the old toilet sitting out there so if you still have trouble with it, I'll check it more closely and get back to you.)

IMO, your water troubles are probably from the toilet. That seems to be where mine came from.

Carolyn,

If you look at my pictures, you will see a picture of my tub in partial disassembly. PizzaChop Pictures - Tub Removal
Browse through them as I'm sure they'll be informative (maybe too much so)
