Help!!

My neighbor gave me a 1976 Argosy 26 ft , but it was gutted for a green house. The bathroom sink and kitchen sink are intact. But there's no electric, there is no water tank. We've got a big project and need a lot of parts. Any help would be great, or any advice would be great too. The wall panels are in place, but no deviding walls or cabinets. All the windows are in great shape, but the door is not so good. The interior walls are in good condition, and the exterior is in fair to good condition. We need help in restoring this awesome trailer.

Pictures would help. There are lots of people here with much experience restoring these trailers, but they've got to see what you're doing.

By way of general advice, first take care of any leaks. That should keep things from getting worse. Floor rot is a big enemy.

Sounds like tires and running gear can come later, assuming that you don't have far to move it from your neighbor's place to yours. If you do have to move it some distance, replace tires, check and service wheel bearings, check brakes and get them working.

And, above all, welcome to the forums.

I hope you have lots of time and money. That is not to discourage you, but total restoration of an Argosy shell is not an easy or inexpensive project.
