Free 1972 Overlander Interior Parts - Get 'em while they are hot (and free)

Hello everyone (and especially North Texans)

I have started a total renovation of my 1972 Overlander. I am rebuilding the interiors, and I have done my very best to preserve all of the original interior parts. If anyone is rebuilding/restoring your 1970's Airstream, and would like to have the parts, they are yours for the taking... Otherwise, they will be going to the dump.

Here's the catch: I am not selling these parts, they are free of charge. So, as I am not making money, I am not really interested in packing and shipping the large pieces. I am in the Dallas, Texas Area and would be happy to personally hand the parts off to you. Please don't ask me to ship any large parts.

I am posting a few photos. If there is anything in particular that you are looking for, let me know.

Cheers,
Allen Mitchell

#3 is overhead storage (over bunk curbside)
#6 I believe is a TV shelf, not really sure. It swivels.

Just a quick line on my way to work. Off hand I could use the gaucho couches and the tambour for underneath counters and cabinets. I will check with my friend who is a trucker to see if he may be able to pick up for me.

Lumatic,
I have already gotten several emails, but as of this morning, the bunks, storage and tambour parts are still available. First-come, first-served!

FYI, the parts are south of Dallas, in Waxahachie, just off of I-35. It would be easy for your trucker friend to find.

Just want the mattresses, not the whole bunk.

If I can arrange a pick up I'll also take the TV stand and any plastic storage drawers in good condition. I will know about pick up in a couple of days. I will try to get back to you one way or the other, but if I don't, give them to someone else.

Ibedonc, let me do a little inventory and see what we have left, in terms of tambour. There are a few pieces I'm sure, just not sure about the endcaps.

The door is yours... after I got Wabbiteer's post earlier, I planned on saving the folding door for you.
