Everything is out of my 1971 as

What can i use that is safe for aluminum after i pulled out isulation there is residue black glue also tape residue as well as just needing a strong cleaning ......any ideas?

I know people who have used an abrasive wheel on a grinder to remove the black adhesive residue. Be sure to wear a respirator. Myself, I removed the left over fur with a stiff nylon brush...and then installed Prodex insulation. What I can't see won't hurt me.

I used some citrus degreaser. Remember it gets covered back up so no need to go crazy clean. Since I was pulling my shell I pressure washed it after letting cleaner soak for a little while.

seems like paint stripper would work.
try some on a small area.
