I was wondering how to build a dinette in place of the front gaucho in a 1972 tadewind. Any plans or ideas would be appreciated. Thank you.

As the owner of a 99 Safari I too am planning on removing the sofa and replacing it with a dinette. If I get started soon I will keep you informed.

there have been alot of different, people that have done the same reno , i am planning the same one myself. I think that spiffy gem has done one and a few others.

Here's what I did in a Sovereign. The measurements (length) will obviously be different but the width will be the same.

I framed it so as to minimize any weight gain.
