bunk bed conversion

Is there anyone out their who knows or have seen a way of removing rear bunks and use the removed bunks to build a futton like sofa. I would like to have a wider bed on either side and no upper bunks, this is in a 1975 argosy 22 ft.

A PO of our 75 Overlander 27' removed the center twin beds, replaced the street side single bed with the cabinetry for a double bed floor plan, and moved the front goucho to the curb side former single bed spot.
