We bought our '73
Sovereign a couple years ago. Spruced it up enough for some weekend camping, but now it's time to get down to business and gut the rear bedroom, fix some leaks, replace the subfloor, possibly reweld some of the frame where there are likely rust issues. You know... basically, everything.
The hubs wants to change the way the electrical is set up. (Our cord keeps flopping out of the bumper compartment while we're driving.) And we also plan to convert it from twin to queen, which shouldn't be a problem since we're gutting the whole back end anyway.
We haven't decided whether to gut the back end and work our way forward or gut the whole thing.
Prayers and advice are appreciated.
