A new winter project!

Hey all! I am new to Airstreams but ready to take this beast on. (1975 tradewind) I have experience in home renovations and custom woodwork so I am excited to broaden my scope. I have already had some questions answered about my sub floor by some kind people on the forum. I will be dropping the belly pan to asses the rot and hopefully there will be no frame damage. I have some rot under the 2 front side windows and will replacing the front section of the sub floor. I am also going to put down an under layment because the PO pulled the original tile and and it pulled away some of the top layer of ply. I will be posting some progress pictures as things progress. Any tips or suggestions would be appreciated.

I do have a questions for anyone who has replaced the original ceiling vent fans. I am thinking that the Maxxair fan looks good but I read good things about the Fan-tastic fan as well. pros-cons? When you replaced the Fan what did you do for lighting? They lights in the original housing are the only ceiling lights that I have.

Thanks in advance everyone!
