'76 Globie project.....

Yep, you read it right. The Overlander will be on "stand-by". We have a new project that belongs to my father-in-law, a 1976 Globetrotter.

My question is this: The plastic/vinyl overlay under the cabinets and above the entry to the bath are deteriorated (peeling down, falling off, etc.). What has everyone else experiencing this problem done?

I just peeled mine the rest of the way off, coated it with one coat of marine epoxy and put 4 coats of spar varnish over it. Can't comment on durability as I just completed it this spring but the wall in the shower seems to be holding up okay and it looks much nicer than the peeling crud.
