'69 caravel window latch thing

Help! Ok, we have a '69 caravel and it has window mechanisms that work like this; on each side of the window there is a little knob that slides up and down. You grab both knobs, one on each side of the window and slide them up and down at the same time to open and close the window. The slits in which the knobs move up and down are supposed to have trim pieces. All of them of them are missing in the entire coach! All that is left is the ugly yellow glue that held them in place. I called Inland RV but the woman was not at all helpful, she wanted the parts number which I don't have and I don't now what the pieces are even called. Can anyone help me please ?

I think this is what you need. I think... It is screwed to the wall. The lifter bar goes through the center. It keeps the bugs out...

New employees, unfortunately, go through that learn curve.

The above in the previous post, is what you need.

Andy,
Seems like you change staff SO often! Why aren't these gals transferring the call to you? We love ya but many are frustrated (within the last 4-5 months) with your staff.

Thanks Andy-you're the best!
I'm sure it is impossible to find employees who know all about airstreams and every model and year etc.! Especially, when I don't know the part myself and can only describe it! So, now I know to ask on here first or when I call to ask for more help. Thanks you for your help and for explaining it to me!

You know we love you and your expertise !!
