If so I can't go over wth lates as it won't stick well. Please advise. If it is LAtex I ma planing to do Kils primer 1st. If it is not Latex and information (PMS color etc) would be helpfull. The vinyl coating on the walls, "MUST" be sanded with at least 150 grit sandpaper.

Not scuffed but SANDED, then the paint will bond.

The walls are likely to be a little sticky from the exuding plasticizer from the flexible vinyl coating on the walls. Very few paints will be able to stick to it. You first need to get the plasticizer off the wall and then use a primer to get proper adhesion. It is much like the vinyl wallpaper that is used in '70s bathrooms.

Does a 67 have the vinyl "wallpaper" or Zolatone? Our 64 has zolatone only. What year was the switch made from zolatone to vinyl "paper"? Or is this a different "vinyl"? And zolatone must be oil-based it is so tough, yes?

The vinyl-clad aluminum interior walls started with the 1965 models.

All the vinyl-clad aluminum that Airstream used, was exactly the same, except for the vinyl color and design.

It is not in any form, a paper.
