1976 Argosy 28' floor plan?

Hi all,
I recently purchased a 1976 Argosy 28' and am having difficulty finding a floor plan to scale that can help me with my designing, despite much internet scouring!
Does anyone have one, or something you drew up you could pass on to me?
Thanks!

Do you have a plan that you like or are you going with the same exact floor plan? We are still in process of re-doing a 1976, 24' Argosy that we purchased last year. We basically did the same floor plan but tweaked it a little. It is definitely easiest to keep the same plan since the supports and obstacles are in the proper place already, and all the reusable items are made to fit in a particular place. Supports being the bars inside the walls, obstacles being the beams under the floor and water pump, heater, drains, sinks, piping, etc. We cut down our bed size from 75ish down to 70 to allow for a little more storage up front. Changing that came with a whole new set of off-sets like speakers and lights not being aligned with windows. Its hard to think of all the things that will be affected by a change way ahead of time when in the gutting stage. We had all the interior aluminum out just weeks before our vacation last year and pushed to get it all together. We are currently at that point again, finishing what we could not finish and re-doing a few things that didn't work out. One thing I wish we would have done last year was to buy a futon and just stick it in the front so that we could have slowed down and thought things through on the dinette. The plan actually turned out but we had used pine. Not a good wood for bedding support. Good luck on getting it all back together.

They are normally in the owners manual. For example this is the 28ft Argosy motorhome, unfortunately I don't have a trailer or the trailer manual.

You probably saw this online too but I thought I would post it for you just in case you didn't see it. Is this your layout?

If you kept the interior skins, when you get them in, or if they were left in, you should be able to tell where things attached to the wall exactly. We took the skins completely out and put them in again exactly where they were originally.

1976 Argosy owners manual

[QUOTE=JSilverlight;2239499]Hi all,
I recently purchased a 1976 26' Argosy airstream. The outside has been totally redone, new windows, weatherstripping, wheels, etc. (it's so pretty, I love it). Everything was in really bad shape so they stripped the inside. There are new windows and floors, but everything else, including tanks has been stripped. There is no owner's manual. We are going to redo it, but would love to know where we could get an owners manual.

Does anyone have one, or know where I can get one? I think I wanna do the original floor plan, but not all that heavy wood that they used to use.

Thanks!
