They are considered 15' long...but they usually rounded up to the nearest "foot" - I believe they were slightly shorter than 15'...and that is from tongue to bumper. The "brochure" says the body length is 12'-0" on the inside & 12'-4" on the outside...

The most distinguishing feature of a Cruisette is the single skin on the curved end caps - from the interior, the ribs are exposed at the ends and then step to the typical double wall construction for the straight part of the body which can be seen here.

Hi,
the short answer is no. The VIN numbering system was not in use for trailers at that time. Cruisette serial numbers ran from 8000-8075. Inside Out is correct about the lengths, though some Cruisettes above serial# 8055ish did have inner skin on the endcaps. Another owner and I have compiled a sort of census of exisiting trailers and about 25 are accounted for. I'm very curious where you saw the k3440t151 number associated with a Cruisette. HTH

Belonged to my brother. Just started to research. Pretty sure 1952 cruisette. Dimensions appear to be correct.
I was concerned about no interior end skins but sounds like it's supposed to be that way.
Am looking for pictures show interior restoration.
