Aluminitis strikes again

I just purchased another Airstream!

It is a 1954 Safari. I will post pictures soon.

I have a request for the moderator -- could you create a folder for "1954 Safari" within the "Safari" sub-forum. Also, I noticed there was a folder in that sub-forum for a 1951 Safari. Just an fyi, I believe 1954 was the first year for the Safari model.

Is this the one off of eBay? If so we watched it as a friend is in the mood for a '54 but not quite ready yet to purchase. This one looked very nice. Congrats!

In my new barn! There is plenty of room here with three stories and a glass-enclosed widow's walk (the property once belonged to a ship's captain).

The house is a 185 yr old Colonial on 2.5 acres with an attached barn (as you have seen already), with a cute guest cottage and with 100' of frontage on the Saco River in Biddeford, ME. I will fill you in more when I see you this weekend and I'll bring the CD of photos I took. Brian is already trying to figure out how many Airstreams we can fit out back for a rally!

Sounds like a great idea! Anxious to see your pics! Hey.......you'll only be 3 1/2 hours from Bar Harbour, Maine. We plan to have an informal rally there next year when we go up for a week!
