Looking for information about my trailer.

I'm pretty sure this is a 1954 Globetrotter but I'm not certain I'm only going off of a small amount of internet searches. I inherited this trailer from my father who passed last year. I was considering keeping it for fishing/hunting trips with my kids but have decided to sell it instead and continue to use our current "modern" camper. I'd like to list it for sale but I'm not sure what to ask? I don't want to ask too much or too little; I just want a fair deal for both parties. I realize to properly assess a value you would have to look at it in person with good detail. But for ball park range can anyone guess? It's nearly restored to completion in fact you could use it as is right now. The floor and frame are all good. The interior has been redone but all the original hardware (cupboard handles etc) are original. The original sink, fridge and stove are still in good shape. It does have a "modern" water tank/heater but the original was left in place. The upholstery has all been redone with the appropriate time period look and feel. The floor has been overlay-ed with cork and the lights on the interior are new replicas. I could provide more pics and information if needed. Thanks for looking!

Welcome Tommy from Iowa. You have described a unique old Airstream which I'm sure will garner quite a bit of interest.

Determining the value of a vintage Airstream is difficult. I had my 66 Trade Wind appraised so I could insure it to an agreed value. You might consider getting your trailer appraised to market value. Small vintage Airstreams in good condition are quite valuable.

You will have to do some research on the Airstream Classifieds here on the forums. There may be similar trailers listed. A listing is not an appraisal and it is difficult to get actual sold amounts.

There is also Vintage Airstream which is a good site also. Look here:

Vintage Airstream - Airstream Trailer Resource

Good luck. Be patient, it could take a while to find the right buyer.
