Thanks in advance!
Sarah ~ It's a 1953 Flying Cloud - check this out: 1953 Flying Cloud

Your 3016 VIN# falls right in line with the 3001-3154 numbers listed...

The VIN plate may not be OEM to this AS. See recent posts in SarahB's main thread, as linked recently.

Flat Bed Trailering a Liner

It has questions regarding how to get a 1948 Airstream from one end of the country to the other (without going crazy and/or broke). But, I also wanted to know if anyone has any idea how many 1948 models (22' Globe Trotter/Liner) are out there. I think there were originally about 400?? made.

Jay,
As another Liner owner, don't know which model mine is due to all the variance, you can trailer the 22 foot liners on a flat bed. I picked up mine from my parents a couple years back and put it on my wife's family's 20' flat bed hauler. I towed it very close to 700 miles to get it to my home, and the only problem I had was all the looky loos on the road. I took as many pics as I could, even if my wife decided to take long distance shots so there is not as much detail in some of them. There are a couple of "DO NOT DO" things that others have mentioned throughout the years that may help. Let me know for you want a longer version and I can type it up here.

Matt
