Looked at a old 48 Silver Stream Clipper. It was an old Southern Pacific maintenance trailer. Looks like 22 foot. All living is in the front of the trailer. Has small shower with separate toilet. The back of the trailer was a generator w/welder . Room has a smoke stack and cargo door.
The serial number is ?-293
the ? Looks like 5, the -293 is very clear.
It has the Southern Pacific emblem with a unit # ED1057.
Looking for any info on this trailer.
The price is reasonable and I am considering buying
Thanks,
DL
This is all the pictures I have. I will try and get pictures of the inside next time I stop to look.
The 90 year old man said he bought it from a Southern Pacific employee he knew. Souther Pacific had 2 of these made for welders.
Basically, it is a 1948 Curtis Wright Toy hauler.
Notice the exhaust stack and cargo door.
Not even close to a fourtys trailer. ...probably a sixties type.. It does look great as a collector item...Railroad collector. Look at the Silver Streak Site for info and help.
