Clipper 22' `1950?

Hello,

My husband and I recently got hold of a beautiful old Silverstreak Clipper.
Pictures below

We're planning on a complete overhaul and have been reading through the threads here for hours.

I plan to update this thread as we come along our journey and for sure we will have lots and lots of questions for the experts and probably anyone who will read the posts.

In the next month, we plan to take apart everything and see in detail what we've got us into.

A question for starters: What year is our beauty? It says 1952 in the title but I only found a 1950 brochure where there is a 22' Clipper advertise, that looks to come close.
It's no liner, since it has two windows front and rear?!

More worrying for me, there is no option for a 22' Clipper in the member section regardless of the year...

Edit: The pictures will follow as soon as I find out, how to upload one. I only get error messages...

Congrats on you acquisition, sounds beautiful. Once you figure how to post a photo someone will help you figure out the year based on how it looks.

And the moderators will likely make you a category if appropriate.

Good luck

We are not interested in selling it.

If anyone is wondering what happened with our Silverstreak: We're still planing to restore it, but have a lot of other projects and work going on, like buying an old house and rebuilding it, kids and other fun stuff... :-)

Eventually we will get there, I will let you know.

Lapa,

You sound so desperate, is there a reason you want this one so badly.

Is this year or model special to you.

There are tons of vintage trailers for sale. What if they paid $20,000 for this one.

Would you really pay double.
