I have been an Airstream owner for over 10 years. Now that I have the new Land Yacht I keep pinching myself every day how amazing this piece of art is! The quality is the simply best reason to own this collectible - Pictures don't justify -
You have to see the Land Yacht in person - I believe there are only 2 left! Only 45 produced in 3 years!

2014 Land Yacht Question

I have a couple of questions regarding LY.

1. Is there difference between 2014 and 2015 Land Yacht?
2. Does 2014 Land Yacht equipped Quietstream?

Thanks in advance!

We have one of the 45...bought it about 8 months (2nd to last one available new)... Our's in the mocha...we love it...but not sure how i feel about laminate wood shower..that's not a good design in my opinion, i need to figure out something to protect the wood from moisture.

We have #23 out of 44. A 2016 LY. I e-mailed Airstream with the VIN # and received an e-mail back informing me that ours was the 23 made. We really love it. As far as the shower wood I have been able to keep it looking like new with Mrs. Meyers gentle shower spray cleaner. Founf a company called Teak4U and had a custom shower mat made. It really adds to the shower. We have the dark wood with white interior. I never had a problem with cleaning the white but obsessed with cleaning it. Our Christmas present to ourselves was having the cushions recovered at Ultimate airstream in a lovely leather like fabric in an off white color called whisper.
Enjoy your L.Y.
I just want more time to spend traveling with the L.Y.

Just got a land yacht. Decking it out and wondering where to put a trash can. Any thoughts?

Congrats! One of 44 and probably only 22 made with the dark wood.
We keep our garbage in the big deep draw in the middle under the kitchen.

Congrats to your Land Yacht! We have had ours for two years now with no issues! The shower laminate works really well.

There is a big difference between ‘14 and ‘15
No induction cooktop
No stainless sink
Issues with mirrors and glue
Discoloration with certain wood

With any new model - the first year needs modifications

I have always been intrigued by these 2014-2016 Land Yachts. It would be great if all the posts associated with these 44 trailers were in one place. I would not think it has to do with the quantity made as there are fewer Panamericas. Does anyone know why there isn't a dedicated Land Yacht forum?

2014-2018 Land Yacht Trailers

We have 2016 Land Yacht #23 out of 44. We wish there was a section for these coaches. It would be good to have a place to ask others about their experiences.

Hi, Iím purchasing a 2014 Land Yacht, was wanting to get some info on these units. The unit Iím buying has mocha cushions and light wood, they are calling it limited because there were only 45 of this particular unit made, it is a beautiful unit!. We currently have a 97 excella with a ton of storage, plenty of cabinets and awesome wardrobes with drawers (3) closets, can you tell me a bit about the storage in these Land Yachts?, actually anything you can tell us about would be so helpful!, it is a great deal of money so Iím wanting to hear from others in the Airstream community that have the pleasure of owning one these beauties.
Thank you fir any feedback you may have.

We have one of the 45 with the mocha interior. We love the design. We feel like it has more storage than it seems. Soft close cabinets. The galley can store a lot of pots and bowls and kitchen stuff...even storage above the fridge. Lots of pull out drawers below the couch too. We don't like the fact that the shower is made out of wood - kinda stupid in my opinion - but we put a plastic shower liner up (because laminated wood is kinda not waterproof) - fine for occasional shower i suppose in a recreation setting, but would have expected something better than this.

Overall - we love this airstream -feels very functional. Email me if you want photos - additional questions.
