This truck was my dealerships entry in the SEMA show in 2018 so it has all sorts of upgrades in cooling, breaking, suspension, and I don't even know what else. I did stop by the shop last week and showed him the specs on the 25' model and I am all clear for the vehicles capability. I am looking into the Andersen weight distribution/sway control system. Anyone have any experience with it? Did anyone choose to go with two AC units and why? Thank you!

Hi SilvaStreama, congrats on your new GT and Raptor - that’s going to be an awesome combination! Pictures required once you get them together :-)
We’ve also got a 27’ GT on order, due end of March and went with dual AC’s for these reasons:
- backup in case one fails
- Extra capacity when camping in Southwest
- another heat pump if you want to save propane
- 50 Amp service capacity which has no downside other than a larger cord
- Better resale as the unit will be more desirable for hot climate campers
Downside? You lose the 30A connection on the front of the trailer to connect a generator (have to use the side connection) plus the additional cost. BUT, it will cost more if you decide to add it later.
We also have a Blue Ox Sway Pro so can’t speak to the Anderson system. I’m sure others can contribute about it’s benefits.
Happy camping!
