Yup - 23’ Globetrotter. We have the 27’ FBQ. Love our GT, but still think the 23’ Globetrotter is my favorite! It’s beautiful.

Yeah, I think I may have said it before but it’s worth repeating... if classic and globetrotter had a baby, that airstream model would be unstoppable in my honest opinion.

But how do you al know that the GT will be offered in a 25 footer? The website does not show this and I have not read about anywhere except here.

Walk into any Airstream dealer, show them the video on your mobile phone, and ask "When are you guys getting one of these in your inventory?" Being in sales my entire life, if a customer came to me with this degree of curiosity and proof of a new (yet-to-be-announced) product, I would provide a truthful response. That candor would likely be the start of a good, trusted buyer/seller relationship. The cats outta the bag - something Airstream clearly considered when they allowed for this "prototype" to be viewed at a public venue. Its absolutely fair game to ask. And its just as much fun watching the sales person's response!

Did you mean a 23’ - the 25’ GT came out last year

I assume you’re asking about the 23’ GT (title of the thread). The 25’ GT came out last year. We’re picking up our 27’ GT tomorrow - asked our dealer about the rumor and he confirmed it’s the real deal. Also, he said don’t be surprised if Airstream adds other models in the GT line (like a 30’).

Here’s the link for the 25’ GT: https://www.airstream.com/travel-tra...ans/25fb-twin/

Deposit paid, I only know what you can see in the video, how much I will pay (in the neighborhood of the international), and that the only options are solar and convection microwave are the only options, that and that we are going to be some of the first ones to enjoy it. Our dealer said they only had one assigned and we took it. I know it is all a bit crazy, but our preferred floor plan and our preferred decoration were enough to us. A once in a lifetime experience that we will round up visiting the factory next month...

Does anyone know if the 23' FB twin GT has a rear bumper? Would be nice to install a Fiama bike rack? I am assuming it does not!

All models except the 16' and 22' Sport have a rear bumper as standard. There are kits available to add bumpers to the Sport models.

Well it seems ours will arrive a lot earlier than expected. The factory told me that they are going to release it from production next Friday, and that it would be one of the very first units. I don't know how long they will take to deliver to the dealer, but hope not too much. Will keep you posted...

Awesome! You have to be excited about that! There must be a few more photos of this GT23FB floating around, but I can only see the video already posted - all 36 seconds of it...

Gallego, congratulations on the great news about your unit’s early production date! We visited JC in April to see our 27’ GT on the line. It finished on a Wednesday and made it to the dealer in Wisconsin the following Wednesday.

They have over 100 contract drivers that pick up units at the factory and deliver to dealers. Our dealer originally told us to expect 10-14 days for delivery.

Hope yours is as quick as ours.

PS: Check Post #2 for still pics from the video...
