USB charging ports

Here's a strange one. He USB ports located underneath the overhead cabinet in the bedroom suddenly stopped working . Has anyone else had this issue?

Mine in the front overhead with the DVD Player caught fire. Fortunately we were right there and disconnected everything before trailer caught fire. 2015 FC 28.

Yes, we spelled that burning wire spell and quickly unscrewed the cabinet to get to the wires to cut, just in time. We replaced that USB but never use any of them any more.

What caught fire? Here is a pic of one USB port. There are two- one on each side over the bed and no apparent way to access the wiring.
