Trouble with the slide out pantry in our new 2017 FC23FB

We took our first trip in our brand new AIRSTREAM and everything was great. The one thing that has happened every time we tow her is that the shelves in the slide out pantry drawer come loose and everything in there falls down and gets jammed to where we can barely open the door. I know it's a small problem but has anyone else had this happen and what is your solution? Thanks!

Cindy

Had the same problem in our ex 23fb. I used zip ties to secure the wire baskets to the verticals. That worked.

Zip Ties

We had the same problem with our 2015 23' FC FB first trip out. Zip ties saved the day. Driving slow over speed bumps makes a big difference for all of the other potentially loose items and remember to keep heavy items in lower stowage lockers and out of the drawers. We have forgotten to secure all of the doors and drawers once or twice with stuff ending on the floor. Now we stop a half hour into our trip and recheck everything. Old age I guess<

We have had the same issue with the pantry on our 2017 23FB. Yes on the zip ties, that will do the trick.

Be careful opening all the cupboards after a bumpy ride. I know from experience that when Corelle ware falls onto the dinette, it explodes into a zillion sharp splinters as if a grenade had gone off. My wife was not impressed.
