…"your test fit, we suggest removing the wheel and applying a thin coating of anti-seize around the axle hubs to help prevent rust and permit easier removal when it's time to rotate your tires. Do not apply anti-seize compound to the lug hardware or studs. If you have any concerns...CALL US! "

May the clamp force be with you

“Lubricated threads”... It's always an interesting, even passionate, argument that certainly has a place alongside torque settings.

I don't very often assemble my junk dry. I'll most often anti-sieze, machine oil, grease, lock-tite, weatherstrip cement, safety-wire, stake… Usually some method other than dry.

I also run with scissors..

Google “reduce torque coated threads” to suck a few hours out of your day… The science of nuts and bolts is fascinating.

I am not a lug-nut scientist, just a hillbilly who has cared for many lug-nuts.

Not familiar with the Southern Hemisphere brand...I have two in my tool box. One was my Dads...70+yrs old and working fine, the other mine 31yrs old, good as new.
On the modern engines I would use the more accurate newer adjustable click style...not a cheepo.
Disclaimer...I made a living with my tools for a long time.

BTW a TW is for torquing not for loosening a tight fixture.

A torque wench just for wheels is another topic altogether...
