Toilet filling up more than usual in 2016 flying cloud

So I’ve been FT in our 2016 30ft Bunkhouse for 2 years. The toilet fills up nearly to the top every time we flush. It never used to do this. Now going through more sanitizer pods than before as tank fills up quicker. Our toilet is the ceramic electric version. Any ideas on how to solve our problem. Thanks

Just a layman's guess, but I would suggest that you turn off the circuit breaker for that function, wait few minutes, and turn it back on again. Maybe the toilet's brain will reset and work correctly?

Your AS paperwork should include instructions from the mfg. -- is this pamphlet of any help? Maybe call the 800 phone number for the mfg., and for Airstream, to get some feedback?

Are your battery voltage and water levels OK, and are you on shore power most of the time? You might want to disconnect from shore power for a while, and monitor your battery voltage levels. If the battery has been falling below certain voltage levels, the toilet's brain might not function correctly.

Hopefully someone with the same toilet will chime in with more informed feedback.

Good luck,

Peter

PS -- It would be helpful if you could post more details about exactly which toilet you have. Is it a macerator model?

Just wondering if you got this sorted out?

Thanks,

Peter

Thanks OTRA15
I’ve tried all the above and still with only pushing the flush button it still fills the toilet bowl to the top. It’s worryingly close to over flowing everytime. The other night someone flushed when the tank was full and it over flowed running under the back bunk bed and dripping out the back of the trailer
. I checked and don’t have the pamphlet for the toilet (Dometic).
You hear the bowl draining when it filled itself to the top. It drains slowly down to where it should be the level it’s at.
I don’t know what else to try.
