Brand new Airstream! The demonstrator showed us how to release the TV to allow it to pivot, and with the overload of info we got that day, I now have no idea what he showed us! Any hints?

Typically just a knob that you pull down behind the TV, it's sometimes got a strap on it.

First off, welcome to the Forums. We're glad to have you with us.

We have a 2015 Flying Cloud 25FB, and it came from the factory with a static television mount in the living area. The television mount in the bedroom does release and articulate by pulling down the lock strap behind the television.

I was not aware that they changed to mount for the 2015 model.

I can figure out how to release it half the time, the other half the time I get to the point I want to break it an give up.

We have the same Airstream model as you. We've used it about 40 days since we bought it in March and have found that the brackets on the tv mount are super stiff making it difficult to extend and retract. Not sure if your's is this way. I'm guessing I just need to put some WD 40 on there. Anyone else have this issue?

Just loosen - ever so slightly - the bolts/nuts at the hinge points. You can carefully 'finesse' the mount to exactly your preference of ease-of-movement.

On our 2016 26u, the bracket would allow the tv to tilt down. I tried to tighten it but couldn't budge it. The dealer also tried. I have a new bracket. Even with the set screw removed, I could not adjust the tension. I would be reluctant to lubricant it because it might get loose and you might not be able to tighten it.
