Depending on the layout of the RV, routing of the plumbing, etc. some pumps are louder than others. Our trailer is relatively quiet. Our van is relatively noisy.
Airstream has a flexible hose kit that makes many pump systems more quiet. It helped in our trailer. If your unit doesn't have the flexible hose it may be worth the investment. Probably less than $25.
You may have air in the line and this will add to the noise. Here's the method to minimize air in the line as best as I can recall it from an Airstream seminar...
Turn off the pump. Turn on all the water faucets to middle temperature setting so combined hot and cold water run through the faucets. Allow the water to come to a trickle or stop. Turn on the pump so water starts flowing through all the faucets. Allow water to run through the toilet too. You will likely get some spit-spit-spit through the faucets, this means trapped air is escaping. One by one turn the faucets full hot and full cold to ensure trapped air has escaped. Beginning at the faucet closest to the pump turn it off, then the next faucet and the next.
If you had trapped air the pump may be more quiet after this procedure and may run less often. YMMV.
