Rear Escape Window

Before we purchased our 19’ CB, I looked at one in Columbus, Ohio. It had the Awning package, and if I remember correctly, the mechanism to hold the window open. Ours does not have the awning package, nor a means to hold that window open. Are the arms included as part of the awning package, or am I mistaken?

Right now, that rear opener seems to be a special request option. We've gotten a couple that had it, and a couple that didn't.

If you want that window to be able to be propped open, all you really have to do is order the screen surround and screen for the window with the lifts, a left and a right lift arm support (the black plastic things that hold the lift arms in place when the window is open), a left and a right lift arm, two knobs for them, and some assorted rivets to hold the lift arm supports.

Just curious.... what an estimate on what that would cost?

I did this conversion an posted a thread that you might find useful. Since this is the escape hatch AS did not supply a notched screen to make this conversion on the 19’ model or at least they did not have one available to order. You can send me a private message if you have question. You can order the lift mechanism hardware for the curbside of the window. The street side is hidden behind the shower partition wall.
