Problem with table in 17 FC 23FB

My 40 pound dog got up on the table. Now, the table top is no longer level. The window side is about 1/2 inch lower than the aisle side. It is enough to be aggravating. I think she may have broken something inside the pedestal that held the post perfectly vertical. Does anyone know if you can disassemble that pedestal? Does anyone know if there are parts inside that can be replaced?

Would not think there is a problem with the pedestal. It's quite sturdy. However the flat plate and slides could have been bent. First compare the squareness of the top plate to the pedestal. Parallel to floor is another reference. Then check slides for deflection. There is a lock that rotates and clamps all in place to reduce the wobble and looseness of the assembly.

If the plate is bent, then replacement may be required if it can not be returned to correct alignment.

Parts - there are folks who have removed their tables and might be willing to sell an un damaged pedestal to you.
