My 16 Sport only came with four throw pillows and I find them quite useful. (There's one in every crowd) I stuff them in the cabinets to keep stuff from bounce around and to ensure the roll-up doors do not open when traveling. They also make into a great bumper when placed against the back wall on those chilly nights. On the other hand, the bed spread is being chewed on by moths in the attic.

Appears that there is a general consensus that airstream has a tendency to over due the throw pillows. Some are nice. Eleven in a 25' Airstream could be viewed excessive. Though I didn't initiate the comments on the bed spread, I agree that too leaves much to desire. The only positive I've given to my wife is that is serves as a nice pattern for a fitted replacement. I just hate the seemly waste.

We keep and use 6 of the throw pillows in our 25fb. We use them for sitting and lounging in the dinette area, and also for certain exercises prescribed by a physical therapist.

We also keep and use the bedspreads. We like them for their looks, for keeping dust off the beds, and as an extra warm layer on cold nights.

too many pillows, agree, we don't use any of them, took them out before first trip. I second replacing pillows with better quality latches and such....

Smile You can't have too many pillows.....

My 2012 Flying Cloud came with 10 pillows and I have purchased 5 more!! We used the original bedspread for almost 4 years but I have now replaced it and the matching pillow shams with some that are much softer and more snuggly - my husband loves the new bedspread and he tolerates the 15 pillows on the bed and dinette and sofa;-)

I got rid of all but 2 pillows. I got weary of moving pillows every time I wanted to sleep, eat, or sit. Thankfully there were no bathroom pillows. You can't tell me you are not constantly moving pillows around?

The only pillows that get moved are the ones on the bed, they get stowed in the cabinets above. If we are on a longer trip (just returned from a 10-day trip to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons) some get thrown on the dinette for the night. It makes me happy that the AS looks beautiful during the day, just as pretty as it did on the dealership's lot. The pillows on the dinette are truly for comfort, we lean against them when watching TV (that is television, not tow vehicle, for all you air forum regulars) and when reading. If we have guests for dinner, they get stowed, but that is only once in a while. I unapologetically love pillows. (I forgot to count the two pillows we actually sleep on!)

Why do y'all have to move em?

Don't ya find em more comfy than the wall? I couldn't eat at the dinette, relax on the lounge or read in my bed without those pillows.

I found myself always moving those pillows from here to there or from there to here so I left them on a closet shelf at home.

That's a great idea.

Me too I have 3 kids and there are waaay to many random pillows. The big square ones I put shams on and put on my bed (because personally don't like the style or roughness of them) and the rest I threw in my basement. Every night we make up both couches for sleeping and it was a nightmare. 5 people in one AS is tight 🤣

Pillows, those aren't pillows

All this pillow talk brought back this discussion from "Planes, Trains, and Automobiles with John Candy and Steve Martin.

Lynnsoltys,

Nice additions. We are also doing somewhat of a Pendleton theme.

I see you have some wall art hung in some of they same places we do. In case you are interested, I found some frames at Ikea that are lightweight and have "plastic glass". We mounted to the wall with double sided sticky velcro.

We use the striped blanket at home, and bring with us when camping

I also added a Pendleton throw that I picked up in the Wind River Reservation store in Wyoming on our way to Yellowstone. It's a crib blanket size, so great for on your legs outside in your chair or reading on the sofa. With its smaller size it is also a great price point.

We have a Flying Cloud Bunk on order. How many throw
pillows should we expect - and what sizes? Thanks!

I think my 26 came with about 12 pillows. Decorator stuff.
They end up on the floor, so I'm relegating them to home.
Since I have the white ultra leather, I try to keep it clean, and I've replaced the throw pillows with sheepskin hides to sit on and lean against.
