One Piece Roof on 2017+?

I saw a brief mention in another post that stated the 2017+ Airstreams are using a one piece roof cap. Does anyone have any details on this? I'd like to know more about this, especially with the raised section running down the roof for the 2015+ ducted air system.

Our 2014 Flying Cloud does have a seam down the length front to back on the roof, on the awning side, maybe 12" in from the awning rail. No big deal if maintained, however, it does take a lot of caulk and has a bunch of rivets. I've treated all the roof rivets twice now in 3 years with Captain Tolly's, but fewer holes on the roof is always good. And of course, there are rivet lines at the roof/end cap joints on both ends.

Anyway, just curious, and inquiring minds want to know if anyone has any details. Besides, maybe we can avoid a tow vehicle debate in this thread.

Based on the pictures of the newest 2017 units on Colonial's website, the 2017 roofline is unchanged from 2015/2016 ducted air units. Joe
