Mattress question FC27FBQ

I know that the 27FB is built with the short queen 60" X 75" Is there room to put a standard queen 60X80 and still get around the corners each side. Reason for asking is we bought a memory foam Identical as the one at home and would like to stay with that brand/mfg when we trade. If anyone can confirm the distance from the factory mattress to the wall would be helpful, my nearest dealers are 3-4 hours away. Thanks

We did with a heavenly bed mattress. I made a small extension with 1/2" plywood for support

There is not much room at the foot of the bed with the factory 75 long mattress. Your full length will be tighter.

Jeff and Gigi, some very smart friends of ours (when we had our 27FBQ) pointed out that before you go to bed, pull the mattress away from the front wall a couple of inches. Your pillow won’t fall into the crack but you will gain a couple inches of mattress length. So simple and still leaves room to walk around the end of the bed the rest of the day.
