The positive lead to my power jack got squashed by the propane bottle cover. Airstream had routed this along the frame at the front edge of where the cover would normally sit. The fuse is after that point, close to the jack motor. This event fried the wire to the battery! Scary. I was dropping the trailer at the Airstream dealer when I found the jack not working, to unhitch. So I had them install a fuse adjacent to the battery + post. This is where a fuse should be; not after the wire can pass along the frame and ground. Airstream corrected this on later models, relocating the fuse; according to the dealer. My trailer is a 2015 Flying Cloud 30.
