Flying Cloud-2016 Changes???

Has anyone heard any rumors regarding possible changes for 2016? I bought a 2014 just before the new ducting was announced and now I'm considering trading it for a 2015, but I don't want to do it and then find more major 2016 changes.

Likely going to have to wait until dealer meeting in May for any definitive word.

My 2016 Flying Cloud 25RB is on order. I was told there will be small changes but nothing specific as I don't believe the seller knew themselves.

I was at the dealership on Monday, they said they will not get notice until a few weeks before general availability. This points to the same timing as the dealer meeting mentioned above.

They are supposed to be re-engineering the AC ducting because the "humps" are slowing production down. Not sure if it will happen this model year or later. The ducted air took the dealers by surprise and two of them i talked too are still stuck with '14s on the lot they can't sell.

Dealer meeting is May 14 in Seattle. All will be revealed at that time. Hopefully Patrick at Colonial will give us his usual great report on new models/changes.

There is always one change every year you can count on, increased prices.

Does anyone with a 2015 see increased maintenance on the roof where the hump intersects the end caps?

We've heard the same thing. We are holding off on buying a Classic for the new version without the humps. I started a thread on here about it but the thread was removed...I guess Airstream doesn't want to jeopardize the current sales of the humped models. I was never given a reason as to why the thread was deleted.

Regarding higher maintenance regarding the humped roof, I believe Moosetags had some leaks with his, but I'm not sure. There sure is a lot of extra wide caulking up there around the patched on sections. It just seems like a big problem waiting to happen, my two cents.

What I've heard so far is:

- Adjustable/Directional outlets from the ducted air so the air isn't blowing straight down on you.

- No recliner variation models

- Moderate base price increases

- Options continue to be priced as they were for 2015 models.
