Finally after 8 years

OK, so about 8 years ago, me and my wife were looking for a RV trailer at a Dallas RV dealership. There sat a silver trailer. It was an airstream. Not only that an Eddie Bauer. We loved it. But as you know when the salesman told us about $60k, I said i could buy three of the others.

Well I bought four, and for all different kinds of reasons thru those years, we sold those. Still looking at airstreams, on the road, stopping in from of our store(thanks to all y'all for letting us look),and at dealerships, till yesterday. We bought a 26 flying cloud. Thanks Anthony at Vogt!

To say we are happy is a understatement. This morning we showing it off to others( I see the fever in their eyes). We are planning that first shake down trip.

Thanks to y'all for answering our questions that we had. Special to Moosetags for his help on the A/C. (the 26 fixed that for us it came with two).

This story is a lot longer but I don't like typing. So when I see you on the road I'll tell you more.

Right I'm going to get back to my airstream!!

Welcome! Although that's a bit late since I see you joined Air Forums back in 2012 when you were looking at the Eddie Bauer.

Maybe that's Welcome Back!, now that you actually own an Airstream.

See Ya' Down the Road!

What a great post! Happy New Year!

May your AS bring you all many years of joy, congrats. I still can’t explain why an Airstream is “better”, the far better experience is just something hard to explain. Happy Camping!

Congrats on your AS purchase!! I got my first AS fifty years ago (1970) and I am now on my third (also had an Argosy in the mix). These are great units and I hope that you end up as happy with yours as I have been with mine. Great travels!!!

Congrats! Buying at least 1 other RV is actually a good idea. Make sure you like the lifestyle and figure out the size you want. After all the depreciation on an AS can be more then an other brand camper cost.

Love Vogt!

We bought our Globetrotter from Vogt-Anthony was our salesman, too. We thought he was fantastic. Good choice-Vogt does a great job taking care of you after the sale, too. Enjoy!
