Do your leveling blocks fit in outside storage compartments?

We don't have an Airstream yet, but we do have the standard yellow/orange leveling blocks for our current camper. Just wondering if two sets of these will fit nicely into the outside, side-storage compartments on a 2018/19 27FB Twin? And if so, is there any room left for say, a water hose or two? Or electric cords?

Thanks!
Ranee

Welcome Aboard!! 🥂👍

They do in our Classic, curbside rear, the compartment extends forward about 4'.
Another compartment on the street side is big enough for PD30C, 50'water hose, 15' 30a extension, small 12v fan, and two 24"x 12"X8" plastic containers for the doodads.
No room for rattles.😂

You will have plenty of room for that and more. The outside storage under the twin beds is very large. On the passenger side we keep two sets of blocks, two large rubber chocks, two x-chocks, torque wrench for wheel lug nuts, wrenches for ProPride hitch, grease gun, and extra grease tubes. There’s still plenty of room for something else if necessary. The outside storage on the drivers side has three extra 25 ft hoses, sewer hose support, box of gloves, Lysol spray, and our black tank spray hose.

Lots of room with the twin beds.

Thanks! I thought they were big enough, but I didn't get measurements when we looked last week.
Question: the 2018 we looked at had a vertical board that divided the outside storage under the twins from the inside, about halfway in, lengthwise. Is that how yours is?

Greetings from the Florida Panhandle

We have a 25FB twin. Our front curb side and front street side storage compartments each contain a set of ten "legos". There is still plenty of room for electrical cords and adapters, and all kinds of other stuff.

Plenty of room

Absolutely. We have the same trailer - 27FCFBT and carry two sets of "lego" pads, plus Anderson levelers and an emergency tire change ramp. All fit nicely in the front compartment, with room for outdoor stove, tools, Coleman lantern, Equalizer bars, cleaning supplies, extra hoses and more.

Our curb side storage is occupied by folding chairs, propane canisters, dog beds, fire pit equipment, etc, while our street side has all of our electrical items including two sets of 30 amp, a surge protector, cables, extension cords, water hoses (drinking and cleaning) and our wheel chocks.

Plenty of room to spare!

Short Answer: Yes.

I had a 2014 FC19 and now a 2018 FC25 storage was not issue with those blocks.

Yes, and more! The Twin models have way more outside storage!

We have 2 sets of leveling "leggo" blocks on the driver side rear compartment; we also carry our 50A power cord and 2 water hose's in there. The 50A power cord can be a bear to put away when it's cold; we use the compartment to coil in a "figure 8" type direction as we "roll" it into that compartment; plus it's on the side where you have power and water typically, so convenient location.

In the rear compartment, we store 4 folding camp chairs, a folding table, large screened in patio room, portable shade, wife's 8'x16' outdoor folding carpet, plus my fishing gear; still some room for something.

In the right rear compartment we keep our scissor chocks, an extra set of chocks, tool box, first aid kit, 10' cable tie, grease, silicon spray, extra gloves, tie down straps, bungies, and other "stuff"...lots of room still if we need more storage...but of course, we also have the bed of the truck...which holds "a lot"!
