Coupler height - 2019 FC 27 FBT

Greetings all!

Just ordered a new AS and Blue Ox WD hitch. I want to configure the hitch as close to “correct” as possible before picking the unit up next month, so I don’t have to futz too much with it at the dealership.

Has anyone measured the coupler height to the ground when level and unhooked on a similar unit? That will help my guesstimate.

I had also ordered an Airstream and a BO Sway Pro, but took the hitch to the dealer and let them install it to the truck and trailer as I went through the delivery presentation.



They were happy to do it for free, as it meant I'd be driving away and they could get credit for another sale.

Most trucks should be set to 22.5" to the top of the ball, before placing the trailer on it.
