We put a deposit down on our Airstream Dream finally this past Saturday. Should arrive in March. 26U Twin w/Sandpiper & Dwell. It's been a long time coming!

Have a question for current owners, I'm wondering if someone can tell me the width of one of the dinette table leafs.

Thanks,

-AlanMcD

Mine are 36" 3/8" long. Also, they are 1/2" too short. Put them on the side rails for the bed setup, put some weight on them and they fall through. The factory is making me new table tops 1/2" longer under warranty.

When you do your walk through, put a top on the supports, slide it to one side and see how much of a gap you have.

It's a known problem and you can read about it in this thread as well as some other issues to watch for. http://www.airforums.com/forums/f516...6u-139457.html

You'll love this 26U layout with the twins.

To me....the width is 19"3/8" The length is 36"3/8"

We just picked up our new 26U with the new interior. We have the wild honey fabric. Everything else is the same as in the sandpiper. Only difference is the front cushions are darker.

Just a side note...Airstream has fixed the table tops problem of being too small when making the bed. Ours came with a new size tops that fit perfect across so no more problems there.

They have changed the latches on the bumper storage door. In the past they used metal twist locks. Now they are black flip locks. Not sure how they will hold up over time but I like they won't scratch like my old ones. Only problem is there is no holes to put pad locks like before. Dealer said I could drill a hole in the outside ends for padlocks. I might...not sure yet.

I only keep sewer stuff in the bumper and I wouldn't think it would be a high theft item. I don't like handling my own , much less someone else's. I might be wrong.
