Happy trails,
In mine I have pex to/from the pumphouse (@ the bulkhead) but both supply and delivery to/from that point is white flex. Kinda looks like the same stuff Shurflo sells to stop the hammering. Guess that is why mine is still OEM, tho I re did the pump on my old backpacking ensolite pad and added new/larger rubber toes...careful not to crank it down tight to loose any anti vibe characteristics.

So...over time I have found that sometimes jamming stuff under/behind the sink trap creates a vibration point, but my real noise point is under the shower....or at least sounds like. If I can figure out how to take the lower front panel off the shower pan EASILY, I may explore further. If not, it's beerthirty. I'm thinking it's a pex cross over point or similar. No telling, in consideration of the plumbing standards on the production line (if the BW/CV ~ FW area under the alu is any indication )

happy trails.

Have a good getaway peter.

Thanks Bob, I actually got a res at HHSP for 2 nights, during the following week. Amazing, as the last time I looked Oct/Nov were the first openings.

BTW you could probably find room under the bath vanity for the accumulator, but you might have to mount it out of the way, and pre-charge it with air before you mount it. [that is part of the instructions anyway -- no water pressure on -- I just wanted it to be easy to charge again when needed, without dismounting.]

Peter - Is that a change of diagnosis, or just a change of timing?

Yes . . . but there are few weeks more of "light duty" physical activity, so as not to dislodge the new electric leads which are now in the heart.

"Patient and alive" trumps "impatient and not" . . .

Live chicken > dead duck . . .

The hardest part . . . minimizing "High Boltage" activities . . .

Domestic thermostat?

Has anyone replaced the Domestic with another thermostat? I hate the Domestic. Impossible to program, I have watched every YouTube video.

I am thinking trying a:

Honeywell Home RTH7600D 7-Day Programmable Touchscreen Thermostat, small, white. From Amazon

Not here. I too gave up (like at home) on the programming. When I need heat I turn the furnace on and set the temp. Turn off manually or lower at night. Same for the AC ....Cool...temp, turn off manually.

Also of note when on SP, we have a small ele portable htr that we generally use in the bathroom in winter (with the alu by the toilet off for air circulation) or sometimes on the stove top. Much quieter.

I know this is a 20 footer thread but I thought I would share anyway.

I found it much easier to program the stat once I wrote down these 2 programs. I keep them in my notes on my iPhone where they can easily be edited.

We also use electric heaters for warmth when connected to shore power so we are only turning the AC on or off or changing the time in the clock function of the stat when we cross a time zone.

Cooling Thermostat Programs

30A (only 1 AC can run at a time)

Zone 1 (Bedroom Unit)
Program 1: Cool, 6 AM, 74 degrees
Program 2: Off, 3 PM

Zone 2 (Living Room Unit)
Program 1: Cool, 3 PM, 74 degrees
Program 2: Off, 6 AM

50A

Zone 1 (Bedroom Unit)
Program 1: Cool, 6 AM, 74 degrees
Program 2: Off, 10 PM

Zone 2 (Living Room Unit)
Program 1: Cool, 6 AM, 72 degrees
Program 2: Cool, 10PM, 74 degrees

Pump Access

Question for you fellow 20 Footer folks. When you need to access your water pump, do you remove drawers and go in from the top or lay on the floor and suffer with the obstacles of reaching in and around things to get to it?

I am hopeful to find an easy way to access the pump and work on it without all the hassle.

Thanks!

Have two air conditioners on our 2014 Classic. Never could run them at same time after rewiring coach. Reset Dometic thermostat many times. Would quit working after a few runs.

Installed the new Micro-Air thermostat six weeks ago and went on a month trip. Absolutely no issues. Also installed the Micro-Air easy start kits on both air conditioners. No more “thump” when compressors start.

Hey Steve, I remove the drawer as my panel is not removeable. Keep in mind your is different I believe with the ducted heat starting in 2016??. My pumphouse is wide open and infact use it for rarely used item storage...stuff for winterization.

Same as Bob with our 2014 . . . knees are shot so lying down to work is actually much easier . . . except for the gettin' up part . . .

Pacemaker doctor says go ahead and drive . . . still to be determined . . . if camping, or dumping the black tank, is next on the list . . . or both . . .

Have a good weekend.

Dometic Theromstst

I need simple step by step instructions on how to program! I set the clock, but it always says 1:44. It won't reset or clear.

I hate this thermostat.

alreardon, maybe try a hard boot of the stat. Do you have your manual? If not I'll look for mine. Kinda like a ctrl/alt/del. In my experience it had solved many issues like when my AC fired cold air when I turned on the furnace.
