Squeaky floor

We have a squeaky floor in hallway before coming to the bathroom. No water damage. Sound is at a loose seam between two sections of subfloor. We have an appointment at Jackson Center in September. Their plan is to remove axles, drop tanks to assess the floor and retighten floor. Anyone repair or quiet a loose seam squeaky floor an easier less invasive way? Thanks

We have a very slight (and apparently temperature-related) squeek amidship... we've decided it adds charm

This wasn't helpful... I apologize

We had same issue on 33 Classic. JC fixed it as you describe above. They used an adhesive (they call it 1100) and also secured it with a couple of fasteners. The squeak is gone and they did a great job. It did take two days to complete but they also changed out View Sonic projector. Unable to stay in the trailer overnight as they had it on jacks and tank out to make the repair. I was hoping there was a simpler way as well but was very pleased with the results. Good luck.

not so lucky on our squeaky floor repair. Our 2015 Classic developed a squeak in the exact same area, had Jackson Center attempt the warranty repair but it turned out to be temporary as the squeak has returned. Hopefully they have discovered the way to fix a problem that by now shouldn't be a problem. While we don't like it, all the pluses still outweigh the few minuses and we have found some humor in it

Bummer. We have a squeak too right in front of shower floor before you get to bed. We are heading to JC on March 19. I can let you know what they come up with.

Thanks this eases our minds. As long as its done right and permanent we’re good. I thought I read a post someplace were Jackson Center even added extra bracing. Whatever it takes to be right. Thanks

Agree with the pluses. We have this year yet to get the warranty issues addressed. We are getting there. Love the Jackson Center service. Maybe they will address yours again for free as a failed warranty repair. We are hoping they have this repair figured out by now. Thanks

All the squeak is, is the floor and wood cabinetry moving independently of each other. There's nothing wrong with it, and it will not hurt anything, as long as you can tolerate the squeak.

Who wants to “tolerate” something that should not be there in the first place. How does JC addressing the issue from underneath solve the independent movement of floor and cabinetry.

Confirmed. 1.5 days for one person to get the work done. Met another member from the forum here and they mentioned that their squeak was fixed in a day because AS had a cancelation and could put two guys on the issue to fix.

Depending on how far they get on the squeak, you may be able to sleep in trailer overnight but you will not have running water (they drop the tanks to fix issue).

AS also said your local dealer will be able to fix it under warranty as well if you want to skip on the potential hotel stay at Jackson Center
