I can't imagine not having both a microwave AND a thermal oven. I did dump the "Franklin Chef" microwave/convection that came in my trailer. I substituted the microwave with a Panasonic. This is one of the few microwaves that uses an internal inverter -- so instead of just pulsing on and off (which is what virtually all microwaves do), it actually decreases and increases the power to the magnetron for better cooking performance.

Barry you are killing me. Almost fell off the dinette seat laughing. Makes me glad that I have the twin beds. Keep it up and you will need a RAM 3500 dually or maybe even an MDT/HDT like one of the ones from RVHaulers.ca. Giving it more thought skip the RAM and get the HDT Volvo. Safe travels.

We have twins, but with the addition of 3" tempurpedic toppers, the beds are very heavy to lift. I could use two of BAB's motors.

ghaynes755 we just came back from our first outing and had a few problems. One was the furnace. It ran for about an hour on auto and then shut off when it reached the set temperature. When it kicked on again all we got was cold air. You mentioned trouble with the sail switch and that it was an easy fix. Can you tell me more about that? Also, we thought both the furnace and heat pump sounded very loud. At least louder than we expected after being in both pop up trailers and motorhomes.

The solution? We cleaned and scrubbed it many times -- over and over again. Now it's clean -- it still looks the same as it did when the trailer was new, but the soles of my feet stay clean. I can't explain it.

Hi Joanne,
The floor in our 2016 Classic turns the bottoms of our socks brown. It has done this from the first day we got it 11 months ago up through the last time we used the trailer a couple of weeks ago. I have scrubbed the floor end to end on my hands and knees three times and we even had the floor professionally steam cleaned and in every case it made no difference. Within hours the bottoms of our socks were again turning brown.

I would like to know what you did to get the flooring clean. What cleaner did you use? How many times did you clean it? etc.

As a side note, Lorrie thinks our flooring may be fading (I am not as sure due to shadows when looking at the corners vs. main walking areas). Have you noticed that in yours?

Joe,

We initially used a wet swiffer because that's all we had (we were still at the dealer) and made about 6-8 passes, each with a fresh pad, pressing hard. Each pad was filthy afterwards but they gradually ended up a bit cleaner.

That mostly did the trick, but I didn't like using the swiffer pads and we abandoned them. Then we did a couple of passes on hands/knees using a microfiber rag and the only cleaner I use in the AS -- Mrs Meyers Clean Day Multi-Surface Everyday Cleaner, Basil scent, rinsing several times.

Since then, we've had no problems with the floor. I vacuum every day (takes two minutes) and on laundry day about once a week or less, we wash the floor with a swiffer-like stick product that uses a washable microfiber pad instead of a swiffer pad. We wet the pad and spray a little Mrs Meyers on the floor and scrub. Then we rinse the pad and go over the floor one more time to remove the cleaner. Then the microfiber pad gets washed/dried when we do the laundry.

We slip our shoes off at the entry and always go barefoot inside or on cold mornings, we wear socks.

I haven't noticed any fading.
