Noise in 2016 Classic

New to the Air Stream world. First time I have used my 30 ft Classic. This unit makes a cycling sound. Similar to a screw jack sound. This sound is on the left side. I have checked the water pump, not the same sound. The sound comes on every 16 to 20 minutes. At times it will go days without making a sound. Most of the time its the 16 to 20 min. Interval. Loud enough to keep us up. I have tried shutting off external water. Tried water pump on and off. Have shut off water to toilet. Thanks for any input...Dale

Welcome to the forums.
The area you are describing the sound coming from is roughly the area of the Aldi water heater/furnace. It could be the sound of the circulating pump running, though it really shouldn't be very loud.

That really makes sense. It does sound like some kind of pump. Not much else on that side. I'm going to take it to the dealer Thursday since its still warrantied and see what happens. Thanks so much. I will offer them the advice.

Also check the power converter...it has a cooling fan and some have come from factory defective and very loud when running. That fan also will cycle on and off as you described. Not sure if the converter is located in the area.

The inverter is on the opposite side below the closet behind a false door.

The "inverter" is a different electrical device than the "converter" whose fan may be the problem. Your owners manual will explain the different functions.

Could the noise be from the fridge's cooling fan cycling on and off?

Noise in 2016 Classic

Hello your noise is the inverter under the dinette seat. It is mounted to the wall. To see it remove the draw closest to the sofa.

No Aldi unit in a 2016 Classic and no fridge fan.

Well after 2 weeks at the dealership they have determined the noise source. It's the adjustable bed motor located under the bed. They are going replace the motor. Should take 7 to 10 days. I will report what I hope is good news.
