New Classic Airstream interior!
Looks like Airstream is coming out with a new interior for the Classic. White and Earl grey leather. Shaker cabinets.
What do you think?

Like it, if it had been around last year might have considered the 30.

I like it. I think it will show less dust than the alternate scheme. Be easier to do a little touch up if necessary.
Clean palate to work with once the owner's items are added.

Being 35 myself, I think this design goes right along with what bob said... airstream continues to innovate and elevate their design to attract a younger crowd. Mission accomplished, I wasn’t interested in upgrading my 18 classic 30 until this design upgrade. Well done Airstream!

New, But?
While clean-looking and easily adaptable to an owner's stuff, this color scheme looks like something straight out of the homes on HGTV: gray, white, what! No sliding barn doors??
I think it will date quickly because of the HGTV look.
Please feel free to give me lots of cr** over my somewhat negative opinion, I am an oldie and I can take it!

Thanks for sharing Turk!
I showed the DF and she gave it a thumbs up - not to replace our Globetrotter, but kudos to Airstream for changing up the color options. *Although she did say the Classic bathroom is awesome.

As a real estate appraiser I do lots of new construction. This is the same look that a predominant of new homes are built with. Not surprised. Dark wood is in the clear minority for new homes. Plus the light interior gives the appearance of more room. It’s why we went with the light color cabinets in the International Serenity. Dark colors tend to give a closed in feeling. I personally don’t like all white in a house, but I could see it in an Airstream trailer.

I agree. My wife has never really liked the dark wood in our Classic. I thought it looked very rich with the black countertops. Hmmm, another thing my wife didn't like.
She really likes the new lighter colors of this new design.
What's that gonna cost me??
Thanks Airstream!

I think its great :-) We bought a GT because it had a more modern feeling to us. Personally, I felt that the current Classic decor was a bit dated, regardless of my age :-)

New Classic Airstream interior!
The dark oak or what have you has been the biggest turn-off of the classic for me. Way too old fashion.
This negates that and updates the classic in my opinion.
Looks good! Kinda like the more progressive / modern light interior of my serenity [emoji4]

Okay, I admit interior décor is not my strong point, but I think this "new" interior is off a bit. I can appreciate the white, bright look - that makes sense to me in some ways. However, the white, bright look may turn out to be dated quickly. That was sooo mid-2010's. And brass pulls!? Whassup with that? Why not some sort of hardware that evokes Airstream? Hammered aluminum, brushed aluminum, bright aluminum... anything but brass!!!
I'm with others in that I do not like all that valence/wall treatment to enclose the blinds. All that boxed-in treatment takes up several inches of space in an RV and it looks very clunky. All those complaints about mouse fur and padded walls & ceilings of the 1990's and 2000's and what does Airstream do? They perpetuate the plush, padded, velour look.
We'll be at the Florida RV SuperShow in a few weeks and hope to see one of these 2020 interiors in person. Maybe seeing it with my own eyes will change my opinion.

While I am partial to modern design, and prefer the Signature/Globetrotter aesthetic, I do like the classic 30 rear bath, the first really new bathroom layout in decades.
I find this design more appealing than the "granny" interiors, but others will no doubt prefer the log-cabin look. (Why anyone would want the interior of their space-ship-like camper to look like a log cabin is beyond my comprehension, but thats why Baskin-Robbins has 31 flavors) Would they also prefer the inside of a corvette to look like a victorian parlor?
But friends, do not worry about this interior being dated in a few years. Interior design is fashion and fashion is always changing. And the more things change...
PS. who goes camping in a suit and tie?

Ick!!!!
I'll never understand this modern trend of boring white/grey/black. The wife says it is so you can add your own splash of color with accessories, but it's cold and sterile to me, even with colored towels and pot holders.
I don't think I've ever seen a 5 star hotel decorated like that. They always have rich woods, granite/marble, etc...
Youngsters these days. No sense of class or taste. GET OFF THE GRASS!!!!

Hi
To the very limited extent that it matters - I like it. If it had been available a few years ago *and* on the lot, we would have gone for it over what we now have.

Hello,
This is obviously very much a personal preference thing. We personally love the coziness of the dark wood, black countertops, and beige leather of our 2018 Classic 30. It very much resembles the Arts and Crafts decor of our Craftsman 1925 home. To us, the bright white decor of the new design looks sterile and jarring to the senses. But I certainly understand the desire by AS to offer a “modernized” design that many, if not most, will enjoy. I guess our synapses are wired slightly differently.

I've tried to get my wife to wear dresses like that when camping, but she's not having it.
I don't like the metal ceiling, brings the height down visually. Cabinets look like Home Depot melamine. Interior is too monotone, except for those bizarre cabinet pulls. That faux-leather will be sweaty in the summer and freezing in the winter. The upholstered boxes housing the blinds look big and clunky; they take up too much room.
All of the materials look fake. No feeling of warmth or richness. Check out some custom private jet and yacht interiors for comparison.
Other than that, it looks fine to me!
