Need to winterize?

Had my 30' winterized until last week. We've been having 60-70 degree temps for the last week or two so we decided to de-winterize and go on a 4 day camping trip. Now the weather people are calling for us to have 3 nights next week with sub 20 degree temps and days around 40. Do I need to winterize again or can I just plug into the house and turn on the heat and be fine?

At the very least, drain all of the lines and the hot water heater plus run the heat. Below twenty is pretty cold. Mid twenties here Sunday, Monday and maybe Tuesday nights so that is what we will be doing also. hopefully heading south Texas and warmer weather on Wednesday

Make sure you do not forget to turn on the tank heaters and once the freezing threat is over turn them off.

Be sure lower cabinet and bathroom doors are open, so that furnace heat circulates to areas vulnerable to freezing.

Any time I'm wondering if I need to winterize, I winterize.

I imagine if you ran the heat and tank heaters when below freezing you'd be ok though. Wouldn't be any different than camping in it in sub freezing weather. I'd be concerned about black and gray tanks, freshwater inlet/tank, outside shower.....crap, fire up the air compressor, where's the pink stuff?

As mentioned before, open the cabinet doors that have plumbing covered and run the furnace. Things will be fine.

People camp in freezing weather, what is different if one is actually in the trailer or not?

Regards,

JD

What I have decided to do is blow out the lines and dump the water in the Alde system. I think I should be ok since it's going to get above freezing during the day.
