Hah ya. I could be one of the only people that can tell you how many "blade hours" I have on my RV.

On another note, my overhead cabinet doors all seem to be falling off now around the one year mark. It's no wonder, these tiny wood screws they used.

My Airstream factory correction project #37: replace every wood screw on all cabinet doors with proper size and use wood glue in the holes. That should keep me busy for a while.

Actually on the two which have pulled out on our 2017 Classic I've put them back using "Woodmate's - Mr. Grip" plus the wood version of Gorilla Glue. Together they work exceptionally well.

Say it isn't so. What, no floor insulation in a new 120k Classic. Didn't Wally say not to make changes, just improvements? The only thing this will improve is the profit margin. Shame on you, Airstream.

Here I am wracking my brain on installing insulation around the gray water tank in my 66 Tradewind.

I am very disappointed in Airstream.

Ya according to AS's web site, the floor from bottom to top is suppose to be a layer of sheet metal, then a layer of Reflectix insulation, then the plywood, then the flooring.

I have no idea how half my floor ended up being only plywood and flooring?

I just caught this line on the 2018 Classic page:

Enclosed Aluminum Insulated Heated Underbelly - STD

How would you guys interpret that?

I found out Spacecraft manufacturing makes completely custom travel trailers too! Very interesting that I could design exactly the floor-plan and systems I want all with top rated quality.

Has anyone ever heard anything bad about Spacecraft?

http://spacecraftmfg.com/travel-trailers/

The only problem is they are so busy, booked until next summer.

Hi

If they are still making 10 to 15 a year, it doesn't take a lot to fill the factory. That's not a bad thing at all. It just suggests that they likely *will* have a long lead time for anything you order.
