We have an ‘18 Classic and the Alde system has been a major problem from day 1. Virtually all major components have been replaced (it’s a 3010). The last time Airstream said they were done paying for it. Great, a company that wouldn’t back its product when the entire process was well documented. Well, the system failed again. Finally a member posted on one of my posts the phone number of Truma (relatively new owner of Alde). They have been wonderful and we have an appointment for repair or replacement. In the conversation it was mentioned that Airstream had issued a recall which we never received. Anyway, it appears we will finally have the issue solved after over 3 years of frustration. (We were to trade & leave Airstream.)
Our experiences led us to believe the 3010 is faulty.

We have a Sept 2017 built 2018 Classic 30'. It has a 3010 boiler with an Alde Flow. After a brief period of getting it adjusted correctly it has worked as described. We did move the control panel out from under the sink. It works with the FireFly although there is a differential with the temperature setting. It has kept us warm with outside temps in the 20's so far. Hot water takes a moment to get to the curbside faucets it has always been adequate to the job. The boss likes it so I like it.

Interesting. Our dealer said Airstream told them the control panel couldn’t be moved to the outer wall. Sounds like our dealer is at least part of the problem.

I have the same experience as cbburk above. Dec 2017 build on a 2018 33 Classic. Alde 3010 Flow connected to the Firefly system. Works great. Had the recall done at JC (fluid change & ground installed). Works as advertised with no complaints.

Never had a problem with our Alde and we've used it a *lot*.
