Exterior rivet
Got rivet that has clear coat bubbled up around it. Also seems to have moisture underneath. Thoughts? It's under warranty but I hate to drive 5 hrs to dealer for 1 rivet.
Pics attached

Looks like that rivet is located under the clear plastic film protection that is installed as part of the awning.
Maybe just cut away the plastic film around the rivet to let it "breath"?

Cover it with vinyl tape and have it fixed when you are near a dealer....
Or buy some rivets, a river gun and some sealant. This won't be your last loose rivet. Learnbto fix them yourself.... Warranty won't last forever. A rivet is $1, gun is $20.

Not clear coat. Airstream puts a clear protective sticker under the awning roller to prevent the warning from scratching the trailer. Problem is with sticker. Should be able to poke a needle hole in sticker and heat with a hair dryer to remove the moister and rub sticker down.

Cover it with vinyl tape until you're near a dealer.
Or....
Buy a $1 rivet, a $20 gun, and a tube of sealant. This will not be your one and only loose rivet.
Learn to fix this stuff yourself, the warranty won't last forever!

Should have looked at the picture.
X2 on the protective film lifting.
It's of no consequence.

Thanks. That's exactly what it is. Will take razor and put a couple of slits in it.
